Canton, Texas Pony Portrait Sessions

Hey everyone! I'm Erica from Simplee Rooted. I'm a lifestyle photographer located in Athens, Texas. If you're not familiar with the area, it's nestled between Dallas and Tyler, Texas, amidst some rolling hills. I relocated here roughly a year ago, and restarting my photography career in a new location after 20 years has been challenging. So, here I am, establishing my business in a new region.

We are already involved in a wonderful horse community. My youngest daughter enjoys riding horses and participating in horse shows. We managed to set up a fall pony mini session with Pony Preschool in Canton, Texas. Shelly, who owns the ranch, is very knowledgeable and provides horse lessons to my daughter. She was incredibly generous in allowing us to use some of her beautiful ponies for a photoshoot. Here are some photos from our mini session event.
